Mission (book fairs & exhibitions)

Ahmadiyya Muslim community is an embodiment of the benevolent message of Islam in its pristine purity that promotes peace and universal brotherhood based on a belief in the Gracious and Ever-Merciful God.

With this conviction, within a century, the Ahmadiyya Muslim community has expanded globally and it endeavours to practice the peaceful teachings of Islam by raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities, building schools and hospitals open to all and by encouraging learning through interfaith dialogue.

Values

Attaining universal peace and brotherhood through the peaceful teachings of Islam is one of the core values of the community. The community recognizes the noble teachings brought by all the prophets and saints including Jesus, Krishna, Buddha and Guru Nanak (peace be upon them all) and fervently explains how the beautiful teachings of all great religions converged into Islam. It is the firm belief of the community that Islam; the religion of peace, is the cure for all ailments of suffering in humanity today. It believes in the Islamic teaching that unless man learns to live at peace with himself and his fellow human beings, he cannot live at peace with God.It preaches and practices 'Love for All Hatred for None', the motto of the community. The values of Loyalty, Freedom, Equality, Respect and Peace are key to the foundation that underpins this motto and reflect the true Islam that so often gets lost in the mist of world events.

Book fairs are one on the most successful avenues of spreading the knowledge and the community participates in a number local book fairs to World Book Fair every year.

The Holy Quran Exhibitions- Sharing the Treasure

The community has a firm faith in Holy Qura’n as a blessing bestowed by the Almighty for the whole of mankind. The Holy Qur’an, is the word of God revealed to Prophet Mohammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It is an unlimited treasure of insight, eternal truth and wisdom. To share this treasure with everyone, the community organizes Qura’n Exhibitions around the world.  People from different walks and strata of life viz. academicians, social activists, journalists, bureaucrats, doctors, engineers and students are cordially invited to get a glimpse at the marvel of Holy Quran and its teachings displayed in different visual media.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, “The truth requires no compulsion for the transmission of its message; the only instrument it needs is rationality. As such, Islam invokes human intellect to investigate the truth of the Qur’anic teachings with reference to the study of human nature, history and rationality. It arouses the human faculties of reasoning and deduction, not only for the pursuit of religious investigation, but also for the attainment of secular knowledge”
