Promoting Tolerance & Understanding (seminars & Conferences)

The community has always demonstrated the spirit of tolerance, goodwill and true brotherhood. It regularly organizes exhibitions, seminars and symposiums throughout the world aimed at encouraging mutual understanding and tolerance despite bitter persecution faced by the people of the community in some countries.

Today when many questions have been raised regarding the doctrines of Islam; Islam oppresses women and endorses violence and terrorism. The community offers a clear presentation of Islamic wisdom, philosophy, morals and spirituality as derived from the holy Quran and practice of Prophet Muhammad Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. It strongly rejects violence and terrorism in any form and for any reason. It emphasizes upon educating women and assuring equal rights to them. The community boasts of millions of educated women, serving the society in diverse capacities as doctors, engineers, social workers and homemakers to name a few.

Seminar on Peace and Harmony

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Chandigarh organized a Seminar on Peace and Harmony at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh. About 800 students and 30 teachers attended this event.
