who are the ahmadi muslims?

The Ahmadiyya Muslims are those who believe in the Promised Messiah, the one awaited by all major religions. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be on him) (1835-1908) of Qadian calimed to be the Promised Messiah according to the divine guidance and the prophecies of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

The Promised Messiah a.s founded the Ahmadiyya Muslim community under the divine revelations in 1889. It is the only community in Muslim world who have accepted him as the Promised Messiah and Mahdi for this age. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been a leading and peaceful revival movement within Islam. From the time it was founded in India in, it is actively progressing in Peace building efforts to build cohesive societies.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community emphasizes the true face of Islam which is all about peace, love and harmony. It is the only and the world’s largest community under one divinely appointed leader, His Holinness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (May Allah be his Helper). He  resides in the United Kingdom and serves as the community’s spiritual and administrative head.

His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, is the fifth Khalifa (Caliph) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
