During his Friday Sermon yesterday, the Worldwide Head and the Fifth Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba, addressed the current state of the world and appealed for prayers for the peace of the world. He warned that the world is advancing towards its own destruction, and prayed, “May God save us from this dreadful catastrophe”.
His Holiness also urged prayers for the Palestinians, pointing out that the cruelty and injustice against them have reached their extremes, to the extent that it seems as though an entire people are being erased. He described how oppression against children, women, the elderly, the sick, and the innocent has escalated severely.
He observed that although some voices have begun to emerge in their support, these are proving inadequate to bring an end to the oppression.
He also addressed the state of Muslim nations, saying that they are taking no meaningful action. His Holiness emphasised that if they cannot act, then at the very least, they should reform themselves and turn to God so that He may come to their aid. He further noted that Muslims are oppressing one another, and prayed that Allah may stop them from such injustices.
His Holiness directed that Ahmadis should raise their voices against such injustices wherever possible and, above all, should offer heartfelt prayers.
