On 11 October 2025, the National Executive Body of Lajna Imaillah (the Ahmadiyya Muslim women’s auxiliary) from Ireland was granted an in-person meeting with the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba, in the UK. During the meeting, the attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and seek guidance from His Holiness on a range of topics. One member inquired about the rising anti-Islamic sentiments and the criticism that Muslims do not integrate, seeking advice on the responsibilities they bear in addressing such notions. In response, His Holiness said:
If this really is the case, and there is a shortcoming in us, then we should admit it. I always say that we should integrate, and not isolate ourselves. Our Lajna should be fully involved—there are many activities through which we can interact with others. Hold seminars, organise peace conferences, or small religious gatherings. Invite women to attend these programmes, deliver a short address of half an hour or so, and offer some refreshments so that they become familiar with us. Those who live in a particular area should build connections with the people around them—that is how Tabligh will take place.
However, integration does not mean that you go and attend clubs. Integration means building relationships with your neighbours, which we must do. I have said this many times: if we are not doing it, then it is our fault, and if people say so, then they are right. When we claim loyalty to our country, then there should also be proof of that loyalty. And we indeed serve our country—as doctors, as teachers, as engineers, or in any other capacity. Some even join the army.

But, integration does not mean sitting in clubs, taking off the hijab, wearing frocks or mini-skirts, or dressing immodestly in summer. Even these people cover themselves in winter. So these are not signs of integration. Integration means serving the country. If you are doing that, then that is good. And if not, then educate your Lajna members that this is what true integration means.
Most of them are probably already doing so. There should be no sense of inferiority. We are serving, and we are loyal to this country. And what is loyalty? Loyalty means not speaking against the country, but working for its betterment and progress. You also make this pledge—every auxiliary organisation includes in its pledge that they will work for the progress of the country. So those who are not doing this should be explained accordingly. I have spoken about this many times; there are numerous addresses of mine on this topic. Read them, take out relevant passages, and share them with others.
