Light, Logic, and Living Faith: The Al-Mujeeb Exhibition at Jalsa Salana Qadian 2025

HUSAM AHMED

The newly inaugurated exhibition titled “Al-Mujeeb” emerged as one of the most intellectually and spiritually enriching highlights of this year’s Jalsa Salana Qadian. The exhibition takes its name from the Divine attribute Al-Mujeeb—The Answerer of Prayers—a title that beautifully encapsulates its central message: that God exists, listens, responds, and guides humanity.

In an age marked by spiritual distance, the Al-Mujeeb Exhibition thoughtfully addresses some of the most fundamental questions regarding the existence of God, the nature and reality of Divine revelation, the living relationship between God and mankind, and the means of attaining perfect cognition of God.

Harmonising faith with reason and science

One of the distinguishing features of this exhibition was its integration of rational, scientific, and philosophical arguments alongside spiritual truths, presenting faith as a reasoned and living reality.

The exhibition presented compelling proofs for the existence of God through logical reasoning, scientific order, and observable harmony in nature. Rather than positioning belief as a matter of blind faith, visitors were guided to appreciate how the universe itself points toward a purposeful and conscious Creator.

Prayer: A living and effective reality

A central emphasis of the Al-Mujeeb Exhibition—as the name itself suggests—was the concept of prayer as a living interaction with God. It challenged the perception of prayer as merely a source of emotional comfort or psychological reassurance. Instead, prayer was presented as a meaningful and effective means of Divine communication.

Visitors were reminded that God not only hears prayers but responds to them, affirming that prayer is neither futile nor symbolic, but transformative and real.

Attaining perfect cognition of God

The exhibition concluded by guiding visitors toward the concept of perfect cognition of God—a recognition attained through sincerity, moral refinement, prayer, and Divine communion. It emphasised that true understanding of God is not static but deepens through personal experience and spiritual growth.

The necessity and continuity of Divine revelation were also explained as essential for moral and spiritual guidance, particularly in an age of intellectual complexity and ethical confusion.

Artistic display of the Divine attributes

One of the most visually captivating sections of the exhibition featured the name “Allah” alongside the ninety-nine Divine attributes, rendered in exquisite Arabic calligraphy and enhanced with subtle light effects. This artistic display attracted great attention from visitors, creating an atmosphere of reverence and reflection. The fusion of light, form, and sacred names served as a powerful reminder of God’s beauty, majesty, and nearness, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.

Guiding towards the Grand Truth

The Al-Mujeeb Exhibition at Jalsa Salana Qadian 2025 stands as a remarkable contribution to contemporary spiritual thought. By harmonising intellect with faith, and presenting God as living, responsive, and accessible, the exhibition inspired visitors to reflect deeply on belief, prayer, and their personal relationship with the Divine.
