On 25 May 2025, a delegation of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya (Ahmadi Muslim men’s youth auxiliary) from the Great Lakes Region of the USA was granted an in-person audience with the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba, at Islamabad, Tilford, UK. During the meeting, the attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and seek guidance from His Holiness on a range of topics. One Khadim, a young architect, sought His Holiness’s advice on how he could contribute meaningfully to rebuilding the world through his profession. In response, His Holiness said:

Being an architect, you should try to design—[whether] you are trying to help the world or the Jamaat—some low-cost houses, [and] some low-cost buildings [such as] hospitals with all the provisions available there. You can design yourself. You have a fertile brain, so you can design. [You should think about] how you can make a place where you can build a hospital [at] less price, but with all the available facilities. So you should think how you can make it.

We are building quite a number of clinics and hospitals in Africa. And we have been sending architects and engineers from here, and they have designed very good hospitals and clinics there at a very low cost. If it [were] given to an ordinary architect or a construction company, that [project] [would] cost us millions of pounds and dollars. But we [have been able to] build them in only fifty thousand [or] a hundred thousand dollars or [just] a few hundred thousand dollars. So, this is how we should work—[by thinking] how you can help the Jamaat, how you can help the poor countries, [and] how you can help the poor people.

I have read the Instructions of Huzur atba. It will be very interesting and attractive if we serve and do waqf e arzi in that countries where we can serve Jamat. May Allah give us opportunity to serve Humanity and make ourselves True sultane e naseer. Ameen
