Jalsa Salana Qadian 2025 Begins with a Message of Faith and Unity

The primary objective of this convention is to stablish mutual love, understanding and compassion among mankind.

The 130th Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India was inaugurated at its national headquarters in Qadian and will continue for three days, from 26 to 28 December 2025.

This spiritual gathering was initiated 134 years ago in 1891 by the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadasthe Promised Messiah and Mahdi—under Divine guidance, with the objective of fostering interfaith peace, harmony, and reconciliation.

The primary objective of this convention is to beckon the world towards its true Creator, fostering mutual compassion among God’s creation and promoting brotherhood and unity. This convention is not an ordinary worldly event; rather, it stands as a unique and distinguished gathering due to its nature and historical significance. Jalsa Salana draws seekers from distant corners, enduring the hardships of travel while setting aside their worldly pursuits.

Hazrat Ahmadas explained the purpose of Jalsa Salana, stating:

“The essence and purpose of this gathering were for our community members to undergo such a transformation through repeated meetings that their hearts wholly incline towards the Hereafter. They should develop a profound fear of God Almighty within themselves and become exemplars of asceticism, piety, God-consciousness, restraint, gentleness, mutual love, and reconciliation. They should manifest humility, modesty, and sincerity while fostering these qualities within themselves for others.”

The three-day event features speeches on various topics aimed at enhancing the intellectual, moral and spiritual standards of the members. Every attendee of the Jalsa experiences inner strength and rejuvenation, and returns with a renewed sense of faith and moral purpose.

In addition to the inaugural address, the first day featured four speeches across two sessions. In the inaugural speech, Mr Rafiq Ahmad Malabari (President of the Anjuman Tehrik-e-Jadid within the Community) highlighted the objectives, spiritual significance and global scope of Jalsa Salana.

This was followed by the first speech delivered by Maulana Muhammad Hameed Kausar, National Director of Outreach, North India, on the proof of the Living God in the light of triumphs granted to Prophets despite overwhelming opposition from their enemies.

The second speech was delivered by Maulana Muhammad Inam Ghori, National Executive Director of the Community, who spoke on the life of the Holy Prophetsa, highlighting his teachings and exemplary model of religious tolerance and freedom of conscience.

In the second session, Mr Hafiz Makhdoom Shareef, Additional National Executive Director, delivered the third speech on the life of Hazrat Ahmadas with reference to his immaculate love for God Almighty.

The final speech of the day was delivered by Maulana Munir Ahmad Khadim, Editor of the weekly Ahmadiyya publication Badr, on the status and rank of the Promised Messiahas.

Through this Jalsa, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community reiterates the message that people should turn towards their Creator and, while embracing the principle of “Love for All, Hatred for None”, respect the religious sentiments and emotions of others.
