The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community celebrated India’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism across the country. The celebrations were marked by flag-hoisting ceremonies, inspirational speeches, patriotic songs, and acts of social service.
In Qadian, the national headquarters of the Community, the festivities were organised by Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Jamia Ahmadiyya, Talimul Islam Higher Secondary School, Nusrat Girls High School and Iqra Kindergarten.
At the Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya celebration, National President K Tariq Ahmad Sahib hoisted the national flag while the national anthem played in the background. Children sang heartwarming patriotic songs, and everyone shared sweets, creating a strong sense of togetherness and unity. At Jamia Ahmadiyya Qadian, the Principal, Mujeeb Ahmad Lone Sahib, hoisted the national flag and addressed the students emphasising their pivotal role as responsible citizens.
On the same day, Khuddamul Ahmadiyya organised a blood donation camp that saw the active participation of many young Ahmadi members and local youngsters, showcasing their dedication to serving humanity.
Independence Day celebrations extended beyond Qadian as different local chapters of the Community across India, including Banglore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Calicut, Palakkad, Kannur, Shimoga, Hoshiarpur, Osmanabad, and Jammu, among others, joined in with flag-hoisting ceremonies.
