Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Denies Any Involvement in the Recent Clash in Aurangabad

FEBRUARY 3, 2024

Ahmadiyya Community strongly denies unfounded accusations of being involved in the recent clash in Aurangabad.

Regarding a recent clash between two Muslim groups in Aurangabad, there have been false accusations circulating in some newspapers and media outlets, alleging the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s involvement in the incident. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community strongly denies these allegations, considering them unfounded and malicious attempts aimed at tarnishing the image of the Community, which has a long-standing history of promoting peace, religious tolerance, and standing against extremism.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community abides by the principle of ‘Love for All, Hatred for None’. It is dedicated to promoting peace and harmony among different religions and fostering interfaith unity. The Community not only advocates for the establishment of peace and mutual respect between various faiths but also actively engages in sincere efforts towards this cause. Consistently making serious efforts to build bridges of understanding and mutual respect, the Community stands out as an advocate for non-discrimination based on religion.

The Community is also known for extending help to those in need without discrimination of religion or faith. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in India serve as guardians of the law in every region, working towards upholding the principles of justice and promoting a society free from violence and extremism.

We urge the media, as well as the general public, to verify information from credible sources before spreading any news related to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Attributing violence to such a peaceful community is, in clear terms, extremely unjust.
