Ahmadiyya Muslim Community strongly condemns the Pahalgam terror attack and appeals for peace and harmony.
Such atrocities have no connection with Islam which proclaims that killing one innocent person is akin to killing the whole humanity.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India strongly condemns the brutal terrorist attack that occurred in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, in which 27 precious human lives were lost and several innocent individuals were injured.
This attack is not only a blatant violation of human rights but also goes against the very essence of religion, morality and humanity. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community expresses deep sorrow and grief over this tragic incident and offers heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, praying for their patience and strength. The Community also prays for the swift recovery of the injured.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community stands firmly against all forms of terrorism and extremism and has always raised its voice in favour of peace, tolerance and the protection of humanity. The Community has consistently maintained that terrorism has no connection whatsoever with Islam. Allah the Almighty clearly states in the Holy Quran:
“Whosoever killed a person—unless it be for [killing] a person or for creating disorder in the land—it shall be as if he had killed all mankind.”
[Holy Quran 5:33]
This verse powerfully reflects the peaceful message of Islam. Taking one innocent life is considered an attack on all of humanity.
India is a beautiful bouquet where people of different religions, races and backgrounds live together in love and harmony. However, some misguided elements occasionally attempt to disrupt this harmony. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India once again strongly condemns this heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam and expresses deep sympathy and prayers for the families of the victims.
May Allah the Almighty protect our country and its people from all forms of strife and unrest. Amin.
