National Ijtemas of Ahmadiyya Auxiliary Organisations Held in Qadian

The annual national Ijtemas of Majlis Ansarullah, Majlis Khudamul Ahmadiyya, and Lajna Imaillah were held in Qadian from 24 to 26 October 2025.

The members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community are divided into three different auxiliary organisations based on age. The education and training provided to each individual takes into account their mental capabilities and age requirements, with the aim of making them productive members of the nation and society.

Ansarullah, meaning ‘Helpers of Allah’, is the organisation for male members of the Ahmadiyya Community above the age of 40. Throughout the year, this organisation strives to prepare its individuals to play a meaningful role in the interest of the nation and society by benefiting from the experiences and examples of elderly and senior members of the community.

Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is the young men’s auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, for male members between the ages of 15 and 40. Its purpose is to educate and train young people in such a way that they develop high morals and strong determination, enabling them to play a prominent role in the progress of the nation and country and to serve humanity. Under this organisation, there is a separate branch called Atfalul Ahmadiyya for boys aged 7 to 15. The focus of this branch is to provide religious and moral training to Ahmadi children from an early age so that, as they grow up, they not only become valuable members of society and the nation but also stand out in terms of religious and moral values.

Lajna Imaillah is the women’s auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Community. It works to prepare women to fulfil their significant responsibilities in the development of society. Ahmadi girls are encouraged to pursue higher education and uphold modesty and chastity. Special emphasis is given to mothers regarding their responsibilities in the upbringing of their children.

Within this organisation, there is a separate branch called Nasiratul Ahmadiyya for girls aged 7 to 15. The focus of this branch is to provide education and training to Ahmadi girls from an early age.

Every year, annual academic and spiritual events—known as Ijtema—for all three auxiliaries are conducted separately at the national level across the globe. During this event, various academic and sports competitions are being held for all participants within their respective organisations, with the aim of nurturing and developing their abilities.

In India, this year’s National Ijtemas took place from 24 to 26 October at the Community’s national headquarters in Qadian. Men, women, and children from across India travelled to Qadian to participate in this gathering.

Throughout the year, these auxiliary organisations strive for peace across India. They also engage in various public welfare activities such as free medical camps, cleaning and maintenance of public spaces through a subsidiary program known as Waqar-e-Amal (meaning, dignity of labour), assistance to the needy, visiting patients in hospitals, tree plantation drives, blood donation camps, and more.

All auxiliary organisations of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community operate under the spiritual leadership of the Ahmadiyya Khalifa, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba. Under his guidance, they carry out public welfare activities across India.

Every participant attending this gathering pledges to offer their services for the progress of their nation. Through this event, members of the Community are trained to enhance their sense of duty towards fulfilling the rights of God and the rights of people, and to improve their moral standards.
