Jalsa Salana Qadian 2025 Concludes with a Renewed Commitment to Faith and Humanity

One of the objectives of Jalsa Salana is to instil in individuals the courage to forsake their rights for the sake of others.

The 130th Jalsa Salana (annual convention) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India successfully concluded in Qadian on 28 December 2025. The central focus of the concluding day—or rather the whole this three-day event—was the address by the World Head and Fifth Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba.

The morning session of the third day featured three very knowledgeable and faith-inspiriting speeches. The first was delivered by Mr Hafiz Syed Rasool Niyaz (missionary, department of publications), on the topic, “The Holy Quran as the Source of Prosperity and Salvation”. Drawing upon examples from Islamic history, the history of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, he demonstrated how attachment to the Holy Quran has granted nations and individuals honour, dignity, and global leadership.

Mr K Tariq Ahmad, the National Director of Outreach and Public Relations, delivered the second speech on the proper use of social media and safeguarding against its misuse and harms in the light of guidance of the Ahmadiyya Khalifa. Explaining the deleterious effects of social media and artificial intelligence on mental health, morals and faith in the modern day—especially among the youth—Mr Tariq outlined the guidelines provided by the Ahmadiyya Khalifa that ensure the responsible use of these technologies and protect individuals from their harmful impacts. He also emphasised the importance of benefitting from the various platforms and online resources of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to enhance religious knowledge and remain connected to the institution of Khilafat.

The third speech was delivered by Mr Ataullah Nusrat, National Deputy Director of Finance, on the blessings experienced by members of the Community as a result of financial sacrifice. He cited numerous incidents spanning from the inception of the Community to the present day, highlighting the immense blessings granted to individuals and families who demonstrated sincerity and sacrifice in the way of Allah.

During the concluding session, the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba, addressed the convention from Islamabad, Tilford, UK. The address was broadcast live worldwide through the Community’s international satellite TV channel, MTA (Muslim Television Ahmadiyya). Apart from the live translations in various international languages, there were also arrangements for real-time translations of the address into various regional languages.

Following the address and silent prayers, Jalsa Salana Qadian 2025 concluded.

Explaining the true objective of this Jalsa, His Holiness once stated:

The Promised Messiahas desired and prayed that this gathering be held purely for the sake of Allah. He wished it to serve not only as a means of our spiritual and intellectual progress but also as a source of our moral training. One of the key objectives of this convention, as explained by the Promised Messiahas, was to establish a bond of love and brotherhood among ourselves. Being mindful of one another’s concerns and possessing the spirit to sacrifice our rights for our brethren are essential means of strengthening mutual love and brotherhood.”

Hence, Jalsa Salana Qadian imparts the lesson of universal brotherhood, fostering a sense of empathy among its attendees, who strive to become beneficial entities for their country and society.

Jalsa Salana, which was initiated in 1891 in the same town of Qadian with just 75 attendees, has now become a regular event in over a hundred countries, with thousands of participants. Even today, following the directives of the Community’s Founder, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas, this Jalsa is held across the world under the leadership of Khilafat. And a whole community of believers continue to reap the blessings and benefits of Jalsa Salana, promoting spiritual growth and enlightenment.
